Violation of Business Ethics
In this age of extreme competition there always exist an acute and extreme antagonism between the corporate houses, be it the domestic, regional or even the international spectrum. However, in each and every age the notion of corporate war changes along with the advent of new partners. With the initiation of the Internet revolution, the latest and greatest corporate war happens to be between the two big giants in the international market, Google and Microsoft. The main reason being both of them are in the same discipline and both want to have a large share of the pie.
What has come to the knowledge, the basis of the war between Google and MSN happens to be the concept of the favored party. While to many the MSN is the perfect emblem of an evil empire, the Google is considered as the gutsy new player on the block with the flag of rebellion in the hand against the empire. What has been the real crisis for the two to get engaged in mutual battles? To many, it is the Google that has started to act like a corporate giant, with a huge arrogance because of its development by leaps and bounds and attaining a global fame. It is this attitude that has resulted in the loosing of reliability of the general users including the Internet users and webmasters. On the other hand the Google has been moving with an efficient management team but most of them are the former employees of the Microsoft, which has made the situation out of the frying pan into the fire. Furthermore, there is also an intense battle wage between the two giant corporate houses and there is an expectation that the coming days shall perceive a more ugly nature of the battle. With Microsoft about to launch its new Vista operating system, Google is already making noises about claiming the system is too restrictive and thus constitutes antitrust by Microsoft. What can be the main reason behind this cacophony? There is only one probable reason, Google is trying to penetrate into the system of the operating system arena. Who is going to win this out? Whether it will be the Google with its domination of Internet searches or the Microsoft with its domination of operating systems is very difficult to say. But that will result into an intense where the practice of business ethics shall be a forgotten phrase.
