COPYRIGHTS & PIRACY

Stand and Speak!

The concept of copyrights and piracy is becoming more and more important with the passing of years. One of the most prominent reasons may be the highly active groups that are ever ready to violate the entire process. But to the aspiring writers eBooks, or electronic books, happen to be big business. It is true that with the changing of the old order and also the initiation of new technology eBooks are being sold in their own right as individual products. In conjunction with it the eBooks are also becoming the weapon of choice for marketing gurus at the fastest speed. It has been a new trend but already has become a consistent notion, and that is to pay the writers to write eBooks by many business owners and webmasters. There is the need of several hours, days and weeks for researching materials and then to write the eBooks. However it is also true that at several times this hard labor fails to materialize and if ever happens to even materialize there is a very scanty notion of protection of the very rights of these writers. Shockingly, 4 out of every 10 eBooks in the present days offered for sale on the Internet are pirated. Material from legitimate eBooks are taken without the owner's knowledge, and passed off as original content every single day. The problem lies in the fact that the people who do this never realize this as a crime.

So what to do? Well, in this extent individual approaches are futile, so there is one way out and that is to unite. Unity is the greatest strength and will make the government hear for avoiding crisis in the coming days through enacting stringent laws.
